Lower Vltava (Mělník - Prague)

Set off from the Mělník port, leave the Elbe, and sail into the Vraňany - hořín navigation canal. The journey begins with passing through the historic Hořín navigation lock, an experience not to be missed. During the voyage towards Prague, you can stop at interesting locations, such as Zelčín with its mini ZOO, Nelahozeves port with a restaurant and the monument of B. Smetana. Before Prague, you'll sail through the rocky scenery of the Vltava and soon find yourself in Troja and the Holešovice port, almost in the very center of Prague. With special permission, experienced crews can sail through Prague and reach the end of our section - to the dam of the Slapy Reservoir.
