How much will it cost or How much will a boat holiday cost you

Are you tempted to spend a few days cruising on the Vltava River? Maybe you're just browsing the boat rental offers on the Vltava River, you're already seeing yourself in the role of a captain, when suddenly you wonder if your wallet is ready for such an adventure. How much does a boat holiday actually cost?

Thanks to our growing fleet, we have a boat for rent for everyone. After all, a week in a luxury houseboat on Vltava River is still much cheaper than a holiday abroad. And even if you don't ride the waves

of the ocean, the beauty and opportunities for unforgettable experiences our most popular river offers at least as much as a stay by the sea.

What's actually included?

For each of the Vltava boats for charter that we offer, you'll find a clear price list that will help you

you will know right away how much it costs to rent a particular boat, houseboat or motorboat. This amount includes:

boat rental,
its insurance,
training and a test cruise,
service and assistance from our staff,
access to services in the ports of Hluboká nad Vltavou and Ceske Vrbné,
fully equipped galley,
port card of the RCV (with set limit for water and electricity),
gas filling for heating and cooking,
bedding and sheets,
water and fuel refills,
access to piers and selected partners and the Boats on the Vltava app.

How about fuel

We will prepare your boat for departure fully fueled. However, you only pay for the fuel consumed (or refuelling). So it won't happen that you have to pay for the whole tank even though you haven't used it.

Motor hours are also paid in addition to the fuel consumed. The price is between CZK 120 and CZK 180 per motor hour. (depending on the type of boat).

Purchase of other services

Of course, you can also order other services in addition to the boat rental, such as a paddleboard, gas grill or T-shirts for the crew, etc. You can always find a list of these at the boat.

After returning from your cruise on the Vltava river, you will also pay for the final cleaning, the price of which varies depending on the boat between 650 and 1150 CZK.

There are no more hidden fees. The price of your holiday or boat trip will therefore be (in addition to

the fuel used) known in advance.

What about the bail

You will also be required to pay a refundable deposit in cash prior to embarkation. The amount varies depending on the ship, ranging from 15,000 to 25,000 CZK.

The deposit will be returned to you upon your return. And you can use it, for example, to pay for fuel used or the final cleaning fee.

Example of a Victoria houseboat rental price

But to move from theory to practice. Imagine you want to take a weekend away with friends in July

to rent a modern Victoria houseboat for the weekend. The rental price is 16 900 CZK, the deposit is fixed

at 18,000 crowns. The boat has a capacity for 8 people, which you will fully use.

There are 6 beds on the houseboat, so you can add two inflatable ones. One will cost 50 crowns per day. 

Overall you'll pay for them: 2 x 50 x 2 (days) = 200 CZK.

To make your cruise on the boat more enjoyable, you decide to take a grill on board, which costs: 

2 x 80 = 160 CZK. And you add a paddleboard - 2 x 450 = 900 CZK. Of course, you must not leave your barking pet at home! Your dog will spend 2 x 90 = 180 CZK on the boat. The final cleaning will be charged at 850CZK.

As far as we are concerned about fuel, let's say that with Victoria you will be able to cruise around 70 km on the Vltava River. At an average speed of 10 km per hour, it will take you about 7 hours. That means that at the cost of 145 CZK/hour, you'll pay 1,015 CZK. Thanks to its modern engine, the Victoria's fuel consumption is around 4 l/hour. You will therefore drive around 28 litres of petrol. At a petrol price of 38 CZK/l (the actual price is determined according to the current price list of Benzina Hluboká nad Vltavou), the fuel consumed will cost CZK 1,064. In total, fuel and motor hours amount to CZK 2 079.

What is the final amount? You will pay CZK 21 269 for the boat rental, additional services, cleaning and fuel. If you divide this amount between 8 passengers, the price per person is only CZK 2,658.

That's not a lot for an unforgettable weekend of adventure and fun.
