Reservation and sailing dates
The season for the year 2024 runs from: 15.4.2024 - 31.10.2024 ☀️
How to make a reservation
When ordering, proceed in easy steps:
- Choose one of the available periods. Always choose one of the designated options for the sailing period (e.g., Working week…)
- Subsequently, select a specific date, i.e., apply the period to specific dates on the booking calendar. The basic price will appear, and you can continue with the booking process.
Each period has a set boarding and disembarking time. The following basic periods apply for the 2024 season:
Terms of boat handover to the crew: ?
- Minimum two-member full crew (see Terms and Conditions Article II.)
- Payment of a refundable deposit upon handing over the boat in cash (CZK or EUR)
- Rental payment
- No captain's exams or licenses are required
Refundable deposit: 25,000 CZK / 1000 EUR, payable upon handing over the boat in cash according to the boat handover protocol.
Boarding and handing over the boat?️
Arrival at the port and reporting to the crew is required always 30 minutes before boarding time. Training of the crew begins at the boarding time. It is essential to adhere to the arrival and boarding time!
Boarding location: Port of České Vrbné
An early arrival will make the beginning of your vacation enjoyable; you will have time to unload your belongings from the car and park. Training in boat operation and service begins at boarding time. The training is attended by at least the person placing the order and other competent persons from the crew over 18 years of age, ideally the entire crew.
Late arrival of the crew may cause delayed wait times for other crews and individual training sessions. For this reason, delays within one day are charged 350 CZK for each started hour of delay. Boarding on a different day than the standard boarding date is subject to a flat fee of 2000 CZK due to increased organizational and personnel costs. Upon your arrival:
Once you arrive at the Port of České Vrbné, park in the area near the containers at the static crane. Navigation would lead you to the Lída Polesná Area, where the campsite is, but on your way to this camp, you will pass by the port and the unmistakable crane, where you will park.
At the boats in the port, the rental staff will be waiting for you. A thorough training on boat operation and service will take place, including testing the gear shifting and performing a practical drive around the port and on the river, mastering maneuvering. Then, formalities (signing the boat takeover protocol, payment of the deposit) will be processed, and you can set off on the river or just stay at the port in the evening and enjoy the port, the adjacent camp with wild water, and overnight on the boat.
Boat handover including trial run usually takes about 2 hours.
Disembarkation and boat return ⚓
It is necessary to be at the pier with the boat already moored at the designated disembarkation time.
The rental boatman will inspect the boat, itemize your payments (additional services, MTH+fuel, cleaning), and record everything in the protocol. The final amount to be paid, then, will be deducted from the provided deposit. Usually, there is no need to have additional cash with you. In the event of damage to the boat, the boatman will retain a portion of the deposit according to the actual amount of damage (see Terms and Conditions for further details).
Boat return usually takes 30 minutes to 1 hour.
Price and fees ☀️
The total price consists of three items:
- Rental of the boat and additional ordered services
- Payment for fuel: Motor hour (engine operation hour) 145 CZK plus the price for actually consumed fuel (price according to the current price list of Benzina Mělník)
- Preparation and final cleaning of the boat: 1,150 CZK (50 EUR)
- Additional services: Additional services can be requested for this boat during booking (e.g., free bedding, captain services, etc.)
