Reservations and Sailing Dates

The season for 2024 runs from April 15, 2024, to October 31, 2024 ☀️

How to Reserve

When placing an order, follow these easy steps: 

• Choose one of the available shifts. Always select one of the designated options for the sailing period (e.g., Working week...)  
• Then select a specific date by applying the shift to specific dates on the order calendar using the mouse. You will see the basic price, and you can continue with the order in further steps.  

Each shift has a designated boarding and disembarking time. The following basic shifts apply for the 2024 season: 

Conditions for Handing Over the Vessel to the Crew: ?

• Minimum two-member fully-equipped crew (see terms and conditions article II.)
• Payment of a refundable deposit upon handing over the boat in cash (CZK or EUR)
• Payment of the rental fee 
• No captain's tests or certificates are required

Refundable Deposit: 25,000 CZK / 1000 EUR, payable upon handing over the boat in cash according to the boat handover protocol. 

Boarding and Handover of the Boat?️

Arrival at the port and reporting to the crew is always required 30 minutes before the boarding time. Training of the crew begins at the time of boarding. It is essential to adhere to the arrival and boarding time! 

Boarding Location:  Port of České Vrbné

Early arrival will enhance the beginning of your vacation; you will have time to unpack your belongings from the car and park. Training in boat operation and service will begin at boarding time. Training is attended on-site by at least the applicant and other eligible persons from the crew over 18 years of age, ideally the entire crew. Late arrival of the crew may cause longer waiting times for other crews and individual training. Therefore, delays within one day are subject to a fee of 350 CZK for each hour of delay commenced. Boarding on a different day after the standard boarding date is subject to a flat fee of 2000 CZK due to the increase in organizational and personnel costs. Upon Your Arrival: 

Once you arrive at the port of České Vrbné, park in the parking lot by the containers near the static crane. Navigation would take you all the way to the Lída Polesná Area, where the campsite is, but on your way to this campsite, you will pass by the port and the unmistakable crane where you will park.
At the boat port, the rental staff will be waiting for you. Thorough training will take place regarding the operation and service of the boat; you will try the gear shifting and conduct a practical drive around the port and on the river, mastering maneuvering. Then formalities will be completed (signing the boat handover protocol, payment of the deposit), and you can set off on the river or just stay in the port in the evening and enjoy the port, the adjacent camp with wild water, and spend the night on the boat.

Handover of the boat, including a trial sail, usually takes about 2 hours. 

Disembarkation and Return of the Boat ⚓

It is necessary to be at the pier already with the boat tied up at the designated time for disembarkation. 
The rental boat crew will inspect the boat, settle your payments (additional services, MTH + fuel, cleaning), and record everything in the protocol. The final amount to be paid will then be deducted from the provided deposit. Usually, there is no need to have additional cash with you. In case of damage to the boat, the boat crew will withhold the specified portion of the deposit, and further action will be taken in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions of the rental.

Returning the boat usually takes 30 minutes to 1 hour.   

Price and Fees ☀️

The total price consists of three items and additional services: 

• Rental of the boat and additional ordered services 
• Payment for fuel: Engine Hour (engine operating hour) 145 CZK plus the price for actual fuel consumption (price according to the current price list of Benzina Mělník) 
• Preparation and final cleaning of the boat: 1,150 CZK (50 EUR)
• Additional services: For this boat, you can specify desired additional services when ordering (e.g., free bed linens, captain services, etc.)

Additional Charges Not Included in the Rental Price:

• In addition to payment for engine hours and fuel consumption and for cleaning, under standard circumstances, you will not have to pay any other charges. Lock passage is free. 
• If there is damage to the boat, these damages are covered by the selected deposit according to the actual amount of damage (see terms and conditions)
• In the boat, you have at your disposal the Harbor Card, which is used for payments for electricity and water use. The daily limit you can spend without further payment is 50 CZK/day. This amount is perfectly sufficient for regular service usage. Heating the boiler will cost you 60 CZK, and the boiler will keep warm for 2-3 days. Refilling the water tank will cost 30 CZK, and you will have over 200 liters of water available. 
• If you exceed the limit of 50 CZK/day, please pay the difference

Regular Clientele: 

We have a discount program prepared for our regular guests. Discounts on the boat rental price of 7.5 to 10% for regular customers apply to all our boats. Please enter the discount code when placing your order. If you don't have it anymore, include in the order note the identification of your previous stay, e.g., the name of the applicant, the date,... or send a photo from your vacation, and we will deduct the discount later. You can also contact us by email or phone.  

Please pay attention to the emails sent to you upon receiving the order and during the year before your vacation. They contain payment information and boarding information.
